ITU Robotics lets us grow our food on demand, hyper-locally.

Global agriculture needs to be redesigned from the ground up to future-proof food security and sustainable growth. We can’t fix everything (yet), so we started by eliminating transportation, food, water and energy waste.

WHY TRANSPORT AIR?

How sustainable is it to keep transporting massive amounts of air, often by air? Why not grow our food closer to home, right where we buy our food, and only grow as much as we eat?

WHY DO YOU NEED SOIL?

As the global topsoil layer gets thinner and increasingly depleted of nutrients, this one seems kind of urgent. So we went ahead and developed non-soil yes- growth tech (is that a term? It is now).

WHY SUSTAINABILITY (LEGISLATION) WON’T SAVE US?

Sustainability is way more than ticking boxes (ESG-targets, double materiality assessments, etc). For us, sustainable growth means figuring out how to grow food in ways that feed our grandchildren. Our best guess? Try something that’s never been tried before.

WHY PANIC?

In the movies, there’s two kinds of robots. Ours is the kind kind. So grab your towel, stop panicking about the future, and say hello to ITU the robot.
